Spring Training 2012

I am a husband to my best friend & wife. I am a father to my son & daughter. I work with the Arizona Diamondbacks as a Minor League Pitching Coach &amp and hitting lessons in the off-season. But that is just what I do, not who I am. My identity is tied & tethered to the cross of Jesus Christ. I am a redeemed sinner clinging to & proclaiming a grace-filled & relentless Savior.

I played professional baseball for 8 years making it up to "the show" 3 separate times for a couple cups of coffee and retired in 2008 due to a shoulder injury. 

With this website I am trying to share a little bit about my journey in life & the things that inspire & motivate me. I love the game of baseball & feel that God has placed me in the game for a reason.  Like Eric Liddell says in Chariots of Fire, "I believe God made me for a purpose, but he also made me fast. And when I run I feel His pleasure."  I can say the same about baseball as a former player & current coach & aim to daily live my life in a way that brings glory to His name.
